Host Parents

What is a Host Parent?

Lots of students from all over the world decide to go to the U.S. for a year to learn about the culture and of course improve their English. These students need a place to stay at and luckily there are American families who are willing to take care of a student for a year. Those are considered Host Families, it is important to support your exchange students with the progress they are making and always encouraging them to do more.

As a Host Parent you are responsible for accommodation, food, and showing your student around. In reverse, the students give a lot back to you. You, as the parents, will learn about their culture and customs and might even learn to speak a little of their language.
